NON RESIDENTIAL The Studio focuses on commercial projects that use recycled materials and feature personal atmospheres. Our professional experience includes commercial and industrial complexes, government buildings, and religious facilities. They combine passive solar elements, theatrical design, and 'main street' urban concerns with the more complex issues of non-residential design. Visit the links below to see two recently completed buildings in Sandpoint, Idaho, and to see earlier passive solar design projects. |
HEARTWOOD CENTER Historic St Joseph Catholic Church, a Sandpoint community landmark built in 1907, transformed into a community gathering and performance center. |

LAKE PLAZA Renovation of 20,000 sq ft office-retail buildings built in the 1970s and 1990’s in downtown Sandpoint. This energy and sun orientated renovation design creates a new life for this deteriorated-under-used- high energy-outdated building. |
|
CEDAR STREET STATION These early 1900's Sandpoint railroad buildings underwent renovation, and became a furniture showroom, a manufacturing facility, and a collection of small shops. The new building demonstrates "Historical Image Restoration." |

EARLIER PROJECTS This sampling of non-residential projects includes passive solar and recycled elements, plus some of the architect's earlier Philadelphia designs. |
